Forgot how goddamn scary this is. The lighting, sound design and angles are exceptional for enhancing the fear. So many little touches with the mirrors and other glimpses are so effective. Many which have become staples in modern horror. As of now I may put this movie at the top of the J-horror food chain ahead of Ringu. Also failed to recall that this is really an anthology woven into the central story. If it wasn’t often confusing I would give this a much higher rating.
