Overview
In the not so distant future, Theodore, a lonely writer, purchases a newly developed operating system designed to meet the user’s every need. To Theodore’s surprise, a romantic relationship develops between him and his operating system. This unconventional love story blends science fiction and romance in a sweet tale that explores the nature of love and the ways that technology isolates and connects us all.

Viewing Notes
Give this a 8 for the actors and craft. Possibly the best the iteration of this story but no more profound than any of the previous incarnations of man falling for A.I. woman. Surprised this is getting so much love from the critics. Yes, it’s a fun, cute movie with a stacked cast but despite the questions and ideas it posits this is still the same story we’ve seen before in many other films and books.
Definitely wouldn’t make my top 10 and probably not my top 40.
