Overview
Reporter Goro Maki stumbles upon scientists conducting weather experiments on Sollgel Island in the South Seas. He discovers the island is inhabited by giant mantis and a woman named Saeko who’s been cast away since the death of her father. The pair soon find a helpless infant monster that Godzilla must adopt and learn to raise as one of his own.

Viewing Notes
Another film that got decent rotation on late night creature feature television. I dig the island stuff w/the scientists but the giant insects are a little lame. The mantis Kamacuras are dopey. Kumonga is also weak. Of course the story is about Minilla coming of age so to speak so it’s a light feature. But still better than Godzilla’s Revenge.
