Overview
After the previous Godzilla attack, a miniature arms race ensues to collect his cells. Concerned over Godzilla’s possible return, the Japanese government uses the cells to create a new bio-weapon, ANEB (Anti-Nuclear Energy Bacteria). They seeks the aid of geneticist Genshiro Shiragami, who’s experiments result in a new mutation.

Viewing Notes
Not a good movie but slightly better than Godzilla 1985 simply for the awesome Biollante creature design (and origin story). Also a great Godzilla costume that is a little more mobile that the previous suit although not much. Unnecessarily long and oddly plotted with the foreign intrigue and espionage. Could have been so much better to simplify the story and stick with the monsters.
