This film works on the strength of the two main leads who are wonderful in this, a unique tale of vampires existing in modern times. Would make a good double feature with What We Do in the Shadows.
Tilda makes a great vampire because she’s so alien-like. I don’t think she’s portrayed one previous to this but she was made for a character like this. The music and score is really nice too. I did become Detroit sad however.
I’m not sure why I’m not a bigger Jarmusch fan since the few films of his I’ve seen I really like but I’ve yet to seek out more. I need to get on that.
