I know now why so many reviews have used the same lede, “I did not expect that a film featuring Tom Hardy sitting in his car talking for the entire runtime would be interesting.” or something to that effect. Being the only thing I read from those reviews it certainly made me curious. And it works. Partially due to Hardy’s acting chops but also his delivery and accent make this a very good watch… and listen. I don’t think it requires a big screen viewing since it’s so intimate, literally the cockpit of his BMW as he drives towards London. I do recommend viewing because Hardy is great.
