Viewing Notes

Went to see this by myself after work at Century Boulder Theater with a small crowd of about a dozen or so people. While I couldn’t fathom a movie consisting almost entirely of Hardy talking on a phone in a car, I have to say it was done very well and I enjoyed it. It didn’t feel overly long either.

Hardy’s range of emotion, almost entirely done with only his voice and face, was amazing and what really drove the movie.

My reaction was the same as many reviews began; I didn’t think an entire film of Hardy talking and driving would be interesting but it totally is. He is fascinating to watch and hear, esp. how he delivers his lines. It’s crazy that they filmed the entire movie twice every night for two weeks or something like that.
