Overview

Max Rockatansky returns as the heroic loner who drives the dusty roads of a postapocalyptic Australian Outback in an unending search for gasoline. Arrayed against him and the other scraggly defendants of a fuel-depot encampment are the bizarre warriors commanded by the charismatic Lord Humungus, a violent leader whose scruples are as barren as the surrounding landscape.

Was super excited when I saw that Nick D programmed this flick for September. Even more excited when it was a Tuesday that I could actually attend (since my class was moved to Monday/Wednesday). Another big screen bucketlist movie scratched off the list. Really dynamite on the big screen with excellent audio.

Each time I see this I’m more impressed at the production and the cinematography. Incredible feat to orchestrate all this action and framing. I’d love to see the storyboards. Goes without saying that this film really is one the best action flicks of all time.

I’d love to see the entire trilogy as a triple feature on the big screen someday. Wish someone would make that happen.
