Overview

Max Rockatansky returns as the heroic loner who drives the dusty roads of a postapocalyptic Australian Outback in an unending search for gasoline. Arrayed against him and the other scraggly defendants of a fuel-depot encampment are the bizarre warriors commanded by the charismatic Lord Humungus, a violent leader whose scruples are as barren as the surrounding landscape.

Viewing Notes

RIP Grant Page

Just two days ago I watched MAD MAX on the big screen for the first time. Grant was the stunt coordinator on that film (and did some stunts). He’s not listed for this film but is listed for Beyond the Thunderdome so I can’t imagine that he had no involvement in this film even if it was a phone call from George asking for some advice.

Grant was definitely one of the real ones and a true legend in the stuntman community.

(Still one of the best Good Boy screen dogs and the only slip up is not keeping him around for that insane finale)
