Viewing Notes
Really dug this movie. Totally mesmerized by the dynamic between Carell, Tatum and Ruffalo, who I love the most here. He totally embodies that role and character w/the proper nuances to pull it off convincingly. Having not been familiar with the real story I had no idea where it was going so I was riveted as the story unfolded.
So weird that they would chose to include a clip from a UFC match not only because the UFC didn’t exist during this time (1987) but also because it was such a famous match for being the fastest KO (Goodridge in 13 seconds). Just an odd choice.
I am very interested to read about this story now.
