Viewing Notes

Watched this again. Noticed a few things like they replacement Lo Lieh during his intense fight scenes. Figured that was the case but was pretty clear when I paused the action. Doesn’t hurt the movie because it’s more about the two central characters and their journey.

Watched this again because it’s pretty kickass. Straight forward “must avenge my master” story with the apprentice in training. Ting Wa-Chung is the kid following Chan Sing, the man who murdered his father, to eventually intact revenge. Near continuous Kung fu fighting that includes a sweet 3 against many super brawl. Basically a video game story with a double big boss final fight. Lo Lieh does his best Lo Lieh even when his stand-in is doing all the stunts. Fun flick available on DVD or streaming on Amazon under Heroes of Shaolin.
