Viewing Notes

I’d rather watch a horror movie than the kind of horror depicted in this movie. As bad as this gets it’s sobering to know it was 100x worse. Very uneasy watching the soldiers taking pleasure in massacring the tribe.

I really, really like everything up to that sequence; the journey with Honus (Peter Strauss) and Cresta (Candice Bergen) is wonderful as these two grow closer together. Bergen is a joy to watch. The segment with Donald Pleasence is great. All of that I would gladly watch again and just skip the massacre.
