Viewing Notes

I’m not a big Jurassic Park fan so I can’t say I was happy or excited for this installment. I decided to go opening weekend since there’s so much chatter online I was getting tired of reading plot points and character arcs and spoilers and and and… sigh.

Movie is fine. The first half is rather dull and I nearly fell asleep (caught myself nodding off). Things pick up by the third act that redeems most of the first two thirds (the Aviary scene is probably the moment when things start to get interesting). Because that final third is thrilling I give this a favorable 7/10. I question whether I could sit through this again to get to those sequences but they are a lot of fun. I love the trained raptors going on the hunt.
