Viewing Notes

Not sure I’ve ever seen this. Crazy. Having a hard time buying the science here. Also no gloves for their “space suit”? Oxygen on the moon?! Additionally the dumb decision to take their oxygen tanks into the core when they should lighten that load. Hate to be that guy but some of this is just obvious.

This is a great Sunday morning movie with all the silliness of early sci-fi films yet still having enough heart to make it watchable and entertaining (despite nitpicking all the bad science on display). Wish that Harryhausen’s creations got more screen time.
