Overview

As the city is locked down under quarantine, Alice finds out that the people that died from the previous incident at the Umbrella Corporation have turned into zombies. She then joins a small band of elite soldiers, who are enlisted to rescue the missing daughter of the creator of the mutating T-virus.  Once lack of luck and resources happen, they begin to wage an exhilarating battle to survive and escape before the Umbrella Corporation erases its experiment from the face of the earth.

Viewing Notes

Not sure I’ve seen this more than once. Wasn’t so keen on this one on that first viewing. Curious if my thoughts will change now.

So this is better than my vague memory had me thinking… however, I barely remembered most of it. Like a lot of it. Not sure what I was doing at the theater when this was screening or if I just dismissed the whole thing. But this is a fun flick albeit patchy in plotting esp. the clunky intro to Jill Valentine.

I like the action beats and Nemesis. Seems like a waste for that character given how much they spent on him. Really wanted to see more of him and Alice teaming up. Also like that they pick up right after the events in the first movie and proceed to make a totally different movie, more like the video game. CG is def better than the first movie.
