Been wanting to revisit this for a while esp. after my last viewing of Duke of Burgundy. The top review on IMDb gave it a 3/10 calling it pretentious. LOL Did they describe it that way because they are ignorant of filmmaking and sound design and Italian horror films and and and and
I gather that if a person calls this pretentious that’s a defensive reaction to “I don’t understand this so therefore it’s pretentious crap.”
It was nice to get reacquainted with this film since I haven’t seen it since FF12. So much I love here but need to watch it again now that I’m familiar with the plot points again.
There are two main stunners that make the movie for me. I’ll write more on them after I watch the movie again.
