Viewing Notes
Feature eight at Box of Horrors and first film of the second half starting around 1AM. Wasn’t crazy about the programming of this as it’s uninspired but it truly is a masterpiece of modern horror and hard to believe it’s already 30 years old. The FX still hold up. Great movie to see with a great crowd.
I feel this is often forgotten as a masterpiece because it’s had so many shitty sequels. People tend to recall those and how bad the franchise has gotten forgetting that this first film truly is incredible from the story to the FX. I guess for that reason I can forgive Will Morris for programming it.
