Overview
Four teenagers in detention discover an old video game console with a game they’ve never heard of. When they decide to play, they are immediately sucked into the jungle world of Jumanji in the bodies of their avatars. They’ll have to complete the adventure of their lives filled with fun, thrills and danger or be stuck in the game forever!

Viewing Notes
Super fun to revisit this. I know Karen Gillan steals a lot here but Jack Black is great and Dwayne Johnson is very funny too. Kevin Hart is doing Kevin Hart so he’s good, natch. Can’t recall if I cried in the theater on my first viewing but the ending got to me this time.
All the extras are just okay… adequate but unfulfilling. Wish they’d just do individual interviews w/each cast member instead of the frantic editing. Wish I wasn’t surprised that Gillan is given the least amount of time among the primary stars and none of the “young” cast members are even included which is a real drag.
