Kinda surprised that we’d get a film this new/recent but Joe Bob did say it was a foreign remake and clearly he meant Trick or Trick since he’s been on about it during the breaks. Which means they aren’t showing Trick or Treat (now or probably never). That sucks because JB knows so much about it and it would be an epic film for The Last Drive-In.
Haven’t seen this movie since it was on the festival circuit. Enjoyed it then but never felt the need to revisit it since it was only a few years ago. Watching with Joe Bob has definitely improved this viewing and I’ve been laughing at most of his commentary.
My favorite scene is still the ice cream at the park scene.
Oh shit, this screened at Stanley Film Fest. RIP :(
