Overview

Follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species, thought to be mere myths, rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.

Round 2

I think I enjoyed it less this time. The problems are more glaring and that first act plays totally different. Things that annoyed me annoyed me even more (Whitford’s character).

The Dolby didn’t sound very good. Like when it was only dialogue and no music it sounded like they were recorded in a bathroom. The shaking seats were nice but even the Dolby Vision was barely an improvement.

Before this viewing I thought I’d see it 3 or 4 times but now I’m content to wait until G-Fest.
