Viewing Notes

Another first time viewing on the big screen! Probably my second most* viewed Godzilla movie. Despite it being the dubbed version this was super entertaining. Quite a loaded cast too. One thing I noticed on the “megascreen” that alluded me before: when they cut to Akiko Wakabayashi as the Martian in “Central Park” they are actually in Ueno Park and right next to the Saigo Takamori statue which is briefly seen when the scene starts and the camera pans left to right. I got my photo taken in front of that statue! It’s very famous. So that’s another Godzilla location to cross of the list.

*including childhood viewings. This was the movie that made me fall in love with Ghidorah. This was also on Creature Feature a lot.
