Experiencing the ideal movie watching weather atm (after a bout of a he worst weather to be at home and watch movies*) so I’m taking advantage of this brief respite. So after viewing the second film last night I’m kicking off this day with the third in the series.
How absurd is this? The villain boss brings out all his best fighters and makes them fight each other to determine the best four… WHY NOT JUST USE ALL THE FIGHTERS YOU HAVE TO STOP HER
Holy shit is Kurata portraying a completely different character in the sequel?!
This movie is a return to form and better than the previous installment. Kurata is a hired assassin (yes, a completely different character than his undercover agent in the last film). And that mofo is so damn stylish and badass it’s sick. Overall this is just a more enjoyable (and less sleazy) installment in the franchise.
*my A/C unit is officially dead and I’m in the process of replacing… very costly process.
