Movie 4 at BoH. Fun to see this on the big screen. Had forgotten a lot of it. That demon child is the scariest thing.
Really this is just a zombie movie but they are “demons” with slightly different motives. Yet people transform into them so willy nilly.
If this movie were made today (same premise) it would be shredded for being terrible (poor screenplay + characters). But as a product of its time, it’s a delight w/sweet practical FX. I suppose that’s why the 80s are often revered for horror / FX even tho many of the films aren’t great. Kinda wish I had that box set w/all the films. I’d watch this again.
