Overview

Eastern Kicks turned me on to this one. Cool to find it on YT since the dvd is oop.
Damn now I want a Blu of this bc the YT upload is so murky. And bc the movie is great. Neat to see Yuen Biao in a non-Kung fu role and actually quite vulnerable. Movie doesn’t pull any punches. Totally get why Eastern Kicks would rate this one so highly in their favorites.
Not sure if this story has been remade but I’d love to see a modern version of this. Maybe with Idris Elba as the cop on the run and Charlize Theron as the hitwoman assassin.
