Viewing Notes
Giving this a solid 7 for keeping me engaged and entertained but good god is this the most over the top overly complicated tactic to stop a volcano from erupting and preventing another devastating earthquake. Just the premise in its simplest form is ridiculous (send a bomb squad into North Korea to break out a double agent in order to help secure nuclear warheads to detonate them in a mine shaft near the active volcano) but there’s SO MUCH MORE than that.
Gotta say I enjoy watching Lee Byung-hun and Ha Jung-wu chewing scenery together with Don Lee as the anxious man with the plan. Fun movie but Wowza that plot.
Btw the overview on this page is fucking hilarious and doesn’t describe this movie at all! Haha
