Had an AList to burn so decided to see this again since it’s still in Dolby. Curious if I’ll still love it on the rewatch.

Yep! Love this movie. Still wish they didn’t make the mistake with the timeline which I noticed this time it’s called out when Marcus says in the beginning they’ve been partners for 25years. So weird they let that get thru or didn’t ADR a correction later in the film. Ah well

I’d love to see a sidequel with the AMMO squad. Vanessa Hudgens is fucking fierce! Dig both Ludwig and Melton too. Really crazy that Paola Nuñez is billed after them even tho she’s their leader and had a bigger role in the movie! Oh that’s right… she hasn’t been in a big Hollywood flick before. Such bullshit.

Anyways I teared up a few times. Why I think this is the best entry is that it has more heart and presents these guys beyond their glory years reflecting on the past and looking forward to what life means to them now. That Will Smith is my age is not lost on me. Also really like how this movie looks and was shot. Nice angles and setpieces. I will own this someday and watch it over and over.
