The dynamic duo of Chon Wang and Roy O’Bannon return for another crazy adventure. This time, they’re in London to avenge the murder of Chon’s father, but end up on an even bigger case. Chon’s sister is there to do the same, but instead unearths a plot to kill the royal family. No one believes her, though, and it’s up to Chon and Roy (who has romance on his mind) to prove her right.

Figured I just watch this movie too since both Shanghai flicks are included in this set I got from the Interloan. These movies are already too long for what they are but this one really feels that 2hr runtime. The intro is clunky and should have just got them to London quickly.
Some decent setpieces with Jackie still doing many of his stunts but overall not as sharp as the previous movie. Still very watchable especially for Donnie Yen vs Chan but a bit tedious and lacks the fish out of water humor from NOON.
I’m still surprised they didn’t make a third film. I’m sure there’s some dumb reason but these two actors have good chemistry. I really like Owen Wilson pretty much doing Owen Wilson in most of his comedic roles.
Holy crap the little kid “Charlie” is Aaron Taylor-Johnson!! Damn
