Viewing Notes

Happy Anniversary to this movie, released on this day 46 years ago! I’ll never tire of viewing this b/c it’s just so bonkers. Between the fake Godzilla (Mechagodzilla) to the ape aliens disguised as humans to the intro of King Caesar, this movie is pure joy. For whatever reason they never showed this one on Creature Feature when I was a kid so my only childhood memory of this movie was the cover of Famous Monsters of Filmland issue #135 “Godzilla vs Bionic Monster!” And stills from the movie that were in the magazine. Not sure when I finally saw this movie but it lived up to the hype I created in my head.
