Viewing Notes
Great to see this again even tho my setup can’t compare to viewing in a theater (seeing this at Nightmares FF was outstanding bc that cinema is enormous and loud). This will sound amazing on Ron’s system.
Definitely warming up to this however I still posit that there should’ve been no dialogue. Visual cues and a few intertitle cards would be been more effective, IMO. 70 percent of the dialogue here isn’t even necessary. Just let the imagery and score do the work.
I suppose since I’ve seen it a few times and know what to expect I can overlook the issues and focus on the stunning graphics and soundscape so it works for me moreso than the first viewing at Fantastic Fest.
