Viewing Notes

Really nice to revisit this after my last viewing on El Rey (which had substandard PQ and commercials). Looks sharp on Prime (enough so that you can clearly see the detail on their wigs) but wish we had the option to view the subtitled version. Love seeing Shaw get a lot of use from their outdoor period set along the coast. Kept looking for a plane in the sky but none were found (did see a couple of speed boats on the water).

I’ve decided that the David Chiang / Ti Lung duo is my favorite onscreen couple. They are so great together.

I’m seriously considering getting an all-region player and picking up the 88 Films Blu of this among many others. Great that they’re on Amazon but the hit-or-miss subtitling vs dubbing gets under my skin.
