Viewing Notes

Of course I had to watch this after viewing SCORPION’S REVENGE. I don’t believe in guilty pleasures but if I did, this def would be one. I just love this movie and still remember seeing on the big screen literally 25 years ago this month! It’s so dumb and has some terrible CG and acting but gosh darn it this thing is just a blast. The sets are still bananas and look like they were made for an elaborate music video.

I haven’t seek MK LEGACY but I wouldn’t mind another stab at remaking / adapting this story. I could totally see Scott Adkins as the wise ass movie star Johnny Cage and Amy Johnston as Sonya Blade. Not sure who I’d cast as Liu Kang but I’d bring back Robin Shou as Raiden.

Oh shit I just saw and now remembered that a new MK film is in production! Damn. Well, they didn’t use my casting so they suck.
