Wow this is really good, a short doc about the unusual amusement parks in Germany (specifically Europa-Park) and those obsessed with them (specifically Dorothea Spohler-Claussen, the world champ for theme park visits). If this was secretly directed by David Lynch I would not be surprised. Now I want to go to Germany and just do a tour of theme parks.
These obsessed fans are really something (Dorothea!). So awkward yet charming in their passion. You know who would love this movie? Pat! Damn, I miss pAT.
This film was on the Cinephobe broadcast for today and looked interesting. It is!
