Viewing Notes

The other day I noticed I hadn’t logged this movie here so I’m viewing it again now to rectify that. I don’t have the new Arrow set but I do have the Mill Creek set, which looks pretty damn good (also have the entire Showa series on dvd that I won at G-Fest years ago). This movie is about the two boy scouts (cub scouts) that get kidnapped by the aliens so that the aliens can control Gamera. Pretty silly stuff yet inline with the other films. The Viras boss monster is the goofiest of Gamera’s foes. Looks like a flappy squid. I really don’t understand how Gamera survives at the end.

It’s gonna be fun seeing people’s reactions to viewing these old Showa Gamera films for the first time. :)
