This movie is absolutely 100 percent my shit. Hot damn do I love this movie. Totally empathize w/the protag here and desire recapture that which was lost (love) and the effort to make it so. Plus giant monsters! And my new love Jessica Henwick! And an awesome dog! I may have teared up a few times.
Big thanks to Mike White from Projection Booth for the free streaming code. First movie I’ve watched on Apple TV via Roku. I’ll probably watch this this again soon.
Henwick kicks ass in this. I was ignorant of her career outside of her co-starring role in UNDERWATER but I’m eager to see more of her television work now.
Not really a “horror” movie but adjacent enough given the giant monsters so it counts towards my 31 days of horror.
