Drove down to Glen Ellyn for my first time visit to the Glen Art Theatre, the only cinema in Chicagoland showing this movie. Enjoyed it so much via Apple TV that I decided it was worth seeing on the big screen for a $5 matinee. Pretty cool little old school theatre. Just me and one older couple across the aisle a ways in front of me.
I just adore this movie and sure enough I still shed a few tears on this viewing as well. Definitely going to own the Blu someday and I hope they have a bunch a extras bc I love the set design and set dressing. Not sure if this will get a sequel given these crazy times but that would be great plus there’s so much more to mine from this story.
