Overview
Staying late in their office on a Friday night, a motley crew of click-bait article authors are tasked with finding the top thirteen scariest online videos in preparation for a Halloween roll-out. When an early entry promises to curse whoever watches the cryptic link, our snarky writers must distinguish fact from fiction before a crescendo of paranormal disturbances lead to real-life murders.

Viewing Notes
Special broadcast on the Shocktail Hour Channel via Facebook with hostess Aurora Gorealis (she’s good!). This movie was a letdown given how much I love this team’s WNUF Halloween Special. The biggest issue I had with this is that there is no reason to give a shit about anything esp. these characters. So when the stories become real and kill them all it’s kinda “oh okay whatever.”
I will say this is one of those that probably would’ve worked better with a crowd at an in-person film festival. Nightmares was a good place to premiere this but it’s too bad it had to be virtual. I didn’t see the line-up at Nightmares but I am surprised this won for best comedy or something.
