After the double feature at Secret Cinema I decided to put this on to start my latest puzzle borrowed from Tonia & Ron, a Frankenstein puzzle. Seemed perfect. What I like about this movie is Chaney Jr looking for Frankenstein’s journals bc he wants to die but instead finds the Monster. At first they’re friends but eventually have to brawl. I love Ilona Massey as Frankenstein’s daughter (seriously, how many kids did that guy have… did he even have time to have kids?!). She’s like, “hey ya wanna come to the castle? I’ll show you around.” ::heart::
Last saw this at The Massacre marathon on 35mm. Was nice to revisit.
