Viewing Notes
Fourth and final movie in our Dark Castle marathon. Programmed this one last since it’s the best of the four by a decent margin. Cool to see in the Secret Cinema. Still feel it could be trimmed by 10 minutes or so (some of the unneeded setup stuff in the beginning). So silly of me but the entire time I was thinking that the lead actress looked a lot like Elisha Cuthbert. Welp, it is her! Forget that this movie is over 16 years old now.
Despite having seen this not that long ago I did forget how gruesome and brutal it gets at times. Some great practical FX. The entire town and wax museum set-piece is outstanding. I love the parallel between brothers and the sibling protags.
