Full point up for the swings this takes in mashing up genres yet keeping the couple and their relationship at the core. I love couples movies but tend to avoid them bc they (now) make me sad. This one definitely squeezed my heart. Also reminded me a of HABIT but I haven’t seen that in 20 years so I could be misremembering. Just the street / urban vibe of it since that’s also a vampire movie.
Someone on my TL recommended this for October viewing so I made a note. Wish I knew who it was so I could thank them. Happy to find this streaming on Plex which I have never used before (PQ is great) but I would totally get this on Blu if it were available. Suppose I could revisit if purposely wanted to get depressed.

There’s an older women who looked really familiar. Turns out that was Catriona MacColl, who starred in a few EuroHorror flicks in the early 80s! So cool that got her for this film.
*Just saw that HABIT was added to Shudder so it would be a good one to revisit. Larry Fessenden FTW
