Ron texted me at the precise moment when I was literally driving by his home to come over to watch movies… so watch movies we did! He just got THE TOUGH GUYS on Blu and as I was reading the back cover it seemed really familiar so looked it up and saw that it went by this other title and had watched this in January at one of Coffman’s marathons. I really dug the flick so I suggested we just watch it. Crazy how much I had forgotten so I’m glad we chose this!

This movie is a riot! Of course it has some skeevy shit (the entire rape sequence really isn’t needed but Lenzi & Co love pouring it on) but overall this is a hoot esp. all the insane car chases. My previous notes sum it up well:

“Definitely a solid crime thriller with a hotheaded protag (Maurizio Merli) who prefers violence in dealing with the criminals and also puts his girlfriend Ana (Maria Rosaria Omaggio) thru hell. Felt bad for her the whole time. Movie also features some wild POV car chases that look bananas.”
