This is a Christmas movie?! Not sure if I’ve ever seen a HK film set during Christmas. Huge bonus and one for my Advent.
Did a Ringo Lam double feature in the Secret Cinema for my first night house/catsitting. The first movie was UNDECLARED WAR, which I really enjoyed. Followed with this one, another I hadn’t seen. Really wonderful filmmaking from everyone esp. Chow Yun-Fat and Cherie Chung. Love both of them very much so to spend an entire movie with characters and their budding romance was pure joy.
That little girl is so friggin’ adorable. Great to see elder Ku Feng in a solid supporting role. That finale with fire is insane and I would expect nothing less from Lam & Co. This is a really cool flick.
