This is a thanksgiving movie.
Haven’t revisited this in a long time (since before we started logging our films religiously). But I used to watch this a lot prior to that and I’m super fond of this movie. Kinda like catching up with an old friend.
Viewing this now is wild. What works really works and the rest… clunky. Dafoe is the master and fully in on hamming it up. Kirsten Dunst as MJ can still get it. Forgot Elizabeth Banks is Betty Brant. Octavia Spencer gets a nice moment. Neat to see all these actors again.
