Not one of Fukuda’s better films but entertaining nevertheless for the neat miniatures and decent cast. Hard to believe that Yuko Asano was only 16 or 17 when this made. She looks older.
Super curious as to when this movie was in production. It was released at the end of 1977 so I wonder if it was a result of the success of Star Wars and thrown into a quick production and perhaps why the movie suffers in most departments compared to Fukuda’s other work.
