Overview

Manga artist Gengo Odaka lands a job with the World Children’s Land amusement park only to become suspicious of the organization when a garbled message is discovered on tapes. As Gengo and his team investigate, Godzilla and Anguirus quickly decipher the message and begin their own plan of action.

Happy 50th Anniversary to this low budget kaiju scorcher, released on this day in 1972.

Super sad that Criterion doesn’t include the hilarious English dub that was done for this movie. I’ve listened to it a half dozen times in the past couple of weeks and it’s great.

One of these days I’ll get a proper Gigan X-plus figure.
