Had to watch this again despite it being dubbed. Sounds like Jackie doing the English. Bai Ling is doing Maggie Cheung’s voice. This is a v silly movie but there’s so much to enjoy particularly that final setpiece in the car safety testing facility. Just amazing work by Jackie plus Johnny Wang once again as a big bad.
This movie really needs the 88 Films treatment especially given all the talent involved. So fucking hilarious that both Ringo Lam and Tsui Hark put themselves in the movie.
TIL the gorgeous Nina Li Chi is Jet Li’s wife!!! Whaaaaaaa
