Viewing Notes

I’m shocked I’ve never seen this before. Ridiculous but goofy fun, especially with the dubbing at times, and the final action set piece in the car safety testing building is amazing. There’s so much great stunt work in this. The fight scenes rely more on acrobatics than kung fu, which allows Chan to be at his best as a comedian. You can really tell in this movie that he was heavily influenced by Buster Keaton. There are so many cameos in this including both directors.

The stream from Amazon was a little choppy at times. I should pick this up on Blu-ray for a rewatch.
