Was neat to finally see this one on the big screen, the only remaining Argento favorite that I hadn’t seen big. Granted this was a 4K digital (I’ve seen 35mm prints of all the others) it was still very cool and looked & sounded great. I sat in the center and closer than usual to really capture that cinematic feeling. The prof for the film class was there to introduce the movie (she programmed this one for her class) and it had me very envious of her class getting to discuss treats such as this film.
My feelings haven’t changed. It’s still top 5 or 6 Argento for me. It starts with such a bang then dips in the middle then ramps back up for the finale. Just blows my mind that this was his first feature film.

I’ve really slacked off on my IFS screening attendance, sadly.
