Overview
Paralyzed since birth, Ilya can only watch helplessly as his village is plundered by barbarians. But when a mysterious traveler arrives with a magic elixir that restores him to full health, Ilya begins an adventure to protect the village and the royal family from harm.

Viewing Notes
Second feature in our movie night and a delightful surprise as I had no previous knowledge of the movie. It’s loaded with incredible special FX and visual trickery to make it a wonderful hero tale from Russian folklore. The PQ was absolutely stunning. Gorgeous movie and really entertaining. I’d like to own this one.
