Viewing Notes

If I could add more genres: science fiction, horror, and fantasy. Wasn’t sure I’d stay awake for this 3 hour epic but was totally riveted. It’s like Ari Aster set out to make a Wes Anderson movie in his own way; he skinned the cat then put the skin back on inside out. I’ve saved a few critical pieces to read and look forward to those and any others I find. Just love that he’s made big feature films about families dealing with grief and trauma yet each is so different.

Definitely one of my favorite movies of the year.
