Viewing Notes

Second half of my double feature at promenade. One of the only films that I hadn’t watched twice that I enjoyed (no interest in the other films I haven’t seen) and I wanted a good time which ruled out a few others. Definitely had more fun on this viewing knowing what to expect. There’s a lot of sly remarks that are really good and often throwaway lines. Great cast and decent fetch quest story. Still got emotional at the end.

I last saw this in March. It’s the end of May, literally two months to the day. There was a decent crowd in my theater tonight, still! And they’re not greenlighting a sequel?!?! Fucking Hollywood. Would love to see another installment with this cast. And would have to include Regé-Jean Page’s paladin. That entire sequence is the centerpiece of the movie.
